The
Building Block Designer allows you to create "building
blocks" for the Residential wire Pro.
Building Blocks
basically are groups of objects (text, symbols, lines,
pictures and others) that you can insert in your RWP
drawings. An example would be a "text block" at the bottom
of every drawing or diagram. Once a building block is
inserted in the RWP page, it may be moved or deleted and
the text and only the text may be
edited. This allows you to quickly change text items
for each different project or customer without having to
design a different Building Block each time.
Using our
example of a "Text Block" in the BBD you would design one or
modify one of the samples with your company information,
logo, space for customer name, project name, etc. then you'd
insert the building block on each page of your RWP project
and then modify the text as needed for that page.
