Contractor prices for over 10,000 items organized in CSI format,
covering all trades in detail. Includes a separate section on
square-foot costs to help with quick estimates based on project type
and size. Find just about all the prices you need in this
encyclopedia of construction costs.
- Over 10,000 Accurate, Up-To-Date Unit Costs
- Man-Hour Data
- Estimating Reference Data
- CSI MASTERFORMAT
- Geographic Cost Modifiers
Over 10,000 unit prices provide cost coverage for all aspects of
construction - from sitework and concrete, to doors and painting.
The cost data is broken down into material and labor costs. This
format allows for maximum flexibility and accuracy in estimating.
This cost data is used for detailed estimates, bids, checking
prices, change orders - anytime that accuracy is key.
Man-hour tables provide data to determine how long specific tasks
take to perform. This information is used for scheduling and when
applying local labor rates. Reference tables provide supporting
information, cost derivations, man-hours, estimating tips and other
related information.

CSI MASTERFORMAT
All data in the Costbook pages and Man-Hour tables is organized
according to the CSI MASTERFORMAT - the industry standard
numbering/classification system. The data is divided into the
16 divisions as shown below. The five digit numbers within each
division correspond to the MASTERFORMAT Broadscope designations.
Each section is further broken down into MASTERFORMAT Mediumscope
designations. These numbers, in most cases, are the same as those
used in architectural and engineering specifications.
The construction estimating information in this book is divided
into two main sections: Costbook Pages and Man-Hour Tables. Each is
organized to the 16 divisions of the CSI MASTERFORMAT as shown
below. In addition, there are extensive Construction Reference
Tables, Geographic Cost Modifiers, Square Foot Tables and a detailed
Index.
Sample pages with graphic explanations are included before the
Costbook pages, Man-Hour Tables and Square Foot Tables. These
explanations, along with the discussions below, will provide a good
understanding of what is included in this book and how it can best
be used for construction estimating.
