Author Biography:

Joseph F. McPartland is the nations foremost expert on electrical system design and construction and a leading electrical contracting consultant. He is the former publisher of Electrical Design and Installation magazine. Known throughout the industry as Mr. Electrical Construction, Mr. McPartland is the author or coauthor of 28 books on electrical design, electrical construction methods, electrical equipment, and the National Electrical Code®, including the popular Handbook of Practical Electrical Design and McGraw-Hills Handbook of Electrical Construction Calculations.

Brian J. McPartland has over 24 years experience in electrical technology and is an electrical contracting consultant. Previously, he was the editor-in-chief of Electrical Design and Installation magazine. He is coauthor of the Handbook of Practical Electrical Design and McGraw-Hills Handbook of Electrical Construction Calculations.
