The Photovoltaic Systems Resource Guide
is a valuable instructional tool designed for training in group

Pretest and Posttest are written exams used to document entry-level
and exit-level skills, respectively. The Answer Keys list the
solutions to the questions presented in the pretest
and posttest. The Electronic Slides contain
electronic files of all the figures in the text for instructional
use. The Test Development Software enables the instructor to create

Solar Radiation Data Sets are formatted and printable PDF files of
the solar radiation information from 239 locations in the United
States. This data is provided by the National Renewable Energy
Laboratory (NREL) and is used for system sizing and
performance verification. Sun Path Charts are resources for mapping
the solar window, which is necessary when conducting a shading
analysis. Forms and Worksheets are formatted and printable PDF files
of example PV-system installation documents. Sun positions are
referenced to solar time, which usually differs from clock time
(standard or daylight saving time). For an accurate shading
analysis, solar time must be known. The Solar Time Calculator
quickly converts between clock time and solar time. This truly is a
complete instructional program for teaching
